Will this lock us into another vendor?

No. The router is Apache-2.0 open source, your provider keys stay yours, and the API is OpenAI-compatible, so leaving is a change of base URL.

What happens when a provider fails?

The router falls back to the next model your policy allows and records the fallback in the trace, so an outage costs a retry, not an incident.

Candidate method correlates memory spike → OOMKilled → restart and wants kubectl top. Citrus mapping: confirm last_termination=OOMKilled (or State OOMKilled) on get_pod_status. Waiting may still be CrashLoopBackOff; that is backoff after the kill. kubectl top / live node metrics are not in the replay tool set. Do not invent usage graphs. Exit 137 alone is not enough. The user saying "OOM" is not evidence.
