No. The router is Apache-2.0 open source, your provider keys stay yours, and the API is OpenAI-compatible, so leaving is a change of base URL.

What happens when a provider fails?

The router falls back to the next model your policy allows and records the fallback in the trace, so an outage costs a retry, not an incident.

pi-js runs pi extensions on QuickJS with Node 22 built-in modules. Read docs/agents/node-compat.md before you change it.

Match Node 22: return values, error codes, error messages, and event order. Compare with real Node output in tests.
Keep src/unsupported.rs true. Remove or reword an entry in the change that closes it, and add one for any behavior you leave partial.
A module is native code in src/node/<module>.rs plus JavaScript in src/js/<module>.js. Keep each new file under 480 lines.
Tests use localhost and temp dirs only. Wrap scripts that could hang in run_cjs_within and mark progress in a stage file.
cfg(windows) code must cross-build: cargo zigbuild --target x86_64-pc-windows-gnu -p pi-js --tests.

Installed into a catalogue, chosen by a router

Install pi-js and it becomes one more candidate the router can pick - when it fits.

A listing is a routing target with a manifest: what it does, which domains it covers, what it costs and who publishes it. Once installed it sits beside your own models and tools, is scored like any other candidate for each request, and shows up in the trace when it wins. Ratings come from workspaces that installed it, one per account.
