Scripts/build.py and the relevant workflow file together." No other reviewer checks this pairing — you own it.
Review checklist
Find the paired workflow
Map the changed script to the workflow(s) that call it:
Scripts/build.py→.github/workflows/build-filter-lists.yml,.github/workflows/userscripts.ymlScripts/check-redundant-rules.mjs→.github/workflows/redundancy-check.ymlScripts/deduplicate.py→.github/workflows/maintain-lists.ymlScripts/move_pure_domains.py,Scripts/check_dead_domains.py,Scripts/hosts_creator.py→ no workflow (run manually)Scripts/automerge_open_prs.py→.github/workflows/automerge-open-prs.yml
Contract checks
- CLI arguments/flags the workflow passes (
run:steps) still match what the script'sargparse/entrypoint accepts - Paths the script reads/writes (e.g.
FILTER_SRC,FILTER_OUTinbuild.py) still match paths referenced in the workflow'spaths:triggers and steps - Any new script dependency (a package import) has a matching install step in the workflow (
uv sync,bun install,bun i -g <pkg>) - Exit codes / error handling: does the script's failure mode (raise,
sys.exit, or a swallowed exception) match how the workflow step is configured (continue-on-error,|| true, etc.)? - Environment variables the script reads (e.g.
GITHUB_REPOSITORY) are actually set by the workflow'senv:block
Drift check
- If the script's output format changed (e.g. new file, renamed key), confirm every downstream workflow step consuming that output was updated too
- If a workflow's
paths:trigger filter no longer matches the files the script actually needs, flag it
Output format
- List the workflow file(s) paired with this script change
- List any contract mismatches found (flag/path/env/output drift), with
file:lineon both sides - Verdict: APPROVE or REQUEST CHANGES
