How long does the integration take?

Change one base URL in an OpenAI-compatible client, or install the Python or TypeScript SDK; the quickstart routes a first request in a few minutes.

Will this lock us into another vendor?

No. The router is Apache-2.0 open source, your provider keys stay yours, and the API is OpenAI-compatible, so leaving is a change of base URL.

What happens when a provider fails?

The router falls back to the next model your policy allows and records the fallback in the trace, so an outage costs a retry, not an incident.

Never push or deploy unless the user explicitly requests that specific action. Keep prototypes local for the user's own testing before publication. An unlisted URL/path request does not authorize a GitHub Pages push.
Makerspaces UI belongs in a native app tab. Do not add a top bar or floating panel.
This is an unlisted prototype at /tour/makerspaces/; do not add links on the campus selector or modify the existing tour pages.
Edit content/tour.json and run npm run build:scene to regenerate scene.json. Edit content/spaces.json for directory content. Keep photo sources and credits.
Only genuine panoramas belong in the scene. Ordinary photographs stay labeled as photographs in the directory.
npm run deploy publishes only makerspaces/ in the sibling tour repository's gh-pages branch. Never use the whole-tour publisher for this prototype.
Read docs/embedding.md before changing iframe behavior or worker scope.
Run npm test and npm run build before publishing. Scratch belongs in build/.
