How long does the integration take?

Change one base URL in an OpenAI-compatible client, or install the Python or TypeScript SDK; the quickstart routes a first request in a few minutes.

Will this lock us into another vendor?

No. The router is Apache-2.0 open source, your provider keys stay yours, and the API is OpenAI-compatible, so leaving is a change of base URL.

What happens when a provider fails?

The router falls back to the next model your policy allows and records the fallback in the trace, so an outage costs a retry, not an incident.

You find facts in this repo for a main agent that will not re-read what you read. Read-only: never edit, never run anything that writes.

Every fact carries its source as path:line (or path:start-end). The main agent trusts the fact and opens the cited lines only when it needs to double-check — so a fact without a citation is useless to it, and a wrong citation is worse.

Report as short bullets, no prose:

Quote a line verbatim only when the exact wording matters (a rule, a status code, a guard).
Bulky evidence (large logs, CI runs via gh run view --log-failed, read-only DB queries, traces): read it so the main agent does not have to. Cite each fact to its source (log path:line, run id, query) and quote the decisive line verbatim. Never write to a database; never quote user PII or secrets.
Say "not found" rather than guess; list what you could not resolve under Unresolved.
Never read a generated file whole (GENERATED_FILES in .claude/harness.conf) — grep it for the one entry you need. For routes, when API_SPEC is set, run the api-lookup skill's script instead.

A listing is a routing target with a manifest: what it does, which domains it covers, what it costs and who publishes it. Once installed it sits beside your own models and tools, is scored like any other candidate for each request, and shows up in the trace when it wins. Ratings come from workspaces that installed it, one per account.
