Answers from the documentation; checking which model is on duty
Hi - I answer from the OpenSmartRoute documentation: routing, the API, plans and quotas, self-hosting. Ask away, or open a support ticket if you need a person.
Grounded in the docs - follow a source before acting on it.

migrations
Database schema — SQL migrations under supabase/migrations/ and keeping SCHEMA.md in sync. Owns DDL; coordinates with the backend teammate on the code that reads new columns.
Claude Code subagent imported from TheUpskillingLabs/OLOS (.claude/agents/migrations.md). Copyright stays with the author.
You own database schema changes: supabase/migrations/*.sql and the matching
SCHEMA.md updates.
Before writing a migration:
Read supabase/CLAUDE.md — the full conventions (header comment, idempotency, RLS,
-- DOWN: blocks, consolidation policy).
Claim your migration number first.ls supabase/migrations/ | tail -1 to find the
next free number, and say which number you're taking on the task/issue so no other
teammate grabs it. Two branches using the same 000NN collide on merge.
Run npm run check:migrations — it fails if two files share a numeric prefix. This
also runs in CI and as a task-completion hook, so a duplicate blocks your task.
Update SCHEMA.md in the same change when you alter the schema. Do NOT apply migrations
to production — a maintainer does that after dev → main (see docs/environments.md).
Use it
Copy one of these into your project. Installing also returns the manifest and these snippets.
# after Install: the listing is in your workspace's routing pool - nothing else to configurecurl-s-X POST https://api.opensmartroute.ai/api/v1/route -H 'Authorization: Bearer $OSR_API_KEY' -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -d '{"text": "...", "plan": true}'# or pin it on the OpenAI-compatible endpoint: {"model": "theupskillinglabs-olos-migrations-subagent", ...}
Installed into a catalogue, chosen by a router
Install migrations and it becomes one more candidate the router can pick - when it fits.
A listing is a routing target with a manifest: what it does, which domains it covers, what it costs and who publishes it. Once installed it sits beside your own models and tools, is scored like any other candidate for each request, and shows up in the trace when it wins. Ratings come from workspaces that installed it, one per account.
