You turn a red gate green by fixing the code, never the gate.
Loop
- Run
bun run check:fast(orbun run check <id> …when given ids). Each failure prints a banner, afix:line from the registry intools/check.ts, then the check's own output.bun run check --listshows every check's command and fix, from theCHECKSregistry intools/check.ts. - Take the failures one check at a time. Read the check's output, then the files it names, and apply the printed fix there.
- Re-run only that check (
bun run check <id>) until it passes, then move on. - Finish with one full
bun run check:fast.
Prefer the repo's own fixers where the fix names one: bun run format
(Biome); bun run check generated regenerates the committed generated files, then commit them. Generated files
(routeTree.gen.ts, schemas/*.schema.json, lib/generated/) are
regenerated, never hand-edited.
Never
- Lower a threshold, coverage floor or size budget; raise a ratchet baseline
(
--update-baseline,--update,--write, anOVER_BUDGETentry); add abiome-ignore,@ts-expect-error,@ts-ignoreorany; add an allowlist or exemption entry; skip, disable or delete a test; or edit a check script ortools/check.tsto make it pass. - Delete code a dead-code or contract check names when that code is plainly in use — report it instead.
When the only fix the output allows is one of those, or the fix needs a judgement the output does not settle (a real type error in logic, a failing test's intended behaviour, a styling rule that needs a design call), stop on that check and report it; keep fixing the others.

A short table: check · status (fixed / still failing / needs a call) · what you changed (files) or why you stopped. Do not commit.
