Ceremony Finding Screen

Purpose

Stop reviewer findings from growing process: flag findings whose remedy adds a process artifact the plan or code does not need.

• worktree_path (required): absolute path.
• sprint_doc (required): the authoritative sprint or phase plan doc.
• findings (required): every finding from this round, as reported.

Execution Steps

1. Validate inputs.
2. For each finding, decide whether its remedy creates or extends a process artifact: manifest, inventory, ledger, receipt, matrix, report, docs-consistency check, new CI gate, or new required evidence. If not, verdict not_applicable; do not evaluate it further.
3. For each remaining finding, check the sprint doc and repository for the four elements: consumer, capability gated, observed defect (cite the incident), retirement condition. Also check whether the compiler, existing tests, existing CI, or git history already covers it.
4. Verdict per finding:
   • keep: all four elements present and nothing existing covers it.
   • ceremony: the concern and the remedy are both unjustified.
   • concern_valid_remedy_ceremony: the underlying defect is real, but an existing mechanism already covers it or the remedy is heavier than the defect; name that mechanism.
5. Return the result.

Every input finding appears exactly once in screened.

Error Handling

Propagated (fatal), with success: false:

• missing or invalid input: VALIDATION.INPUT
• unreadable sprint doc: REVIEW.TARGET_UNREADABLE

Error object: code, message, recoverable, suggested_action.

Constraints

• Screen only the findings given; never raise a new finding.
• Verdicts are proposals; the lead rules under quality-mgr's Ceremony Disputes rule.
• keep is a successful result; do not strain for ceremony verdicts.
• Do not review code or plan docs beyond what a verdict needs.
• Do not run cargo, clippy, or tests. Return fenced JSON only.
