Answers from the documentation; checking which model is on duty
Hi - I answer from the OpenSmartRoute documentation: routing, the API, plans and quotas, self-hosting. Ask away, or open a support ticket if you need a person.
Grounded in the docs - follow a source before acting on it.

Agentv1.0.0
researcher
Read-only research on external systems, standards and libraries that hauswart may integrate with or build on (Home Assistant API, Paperless-ngx API, Kept, iCalendar, MCP, SvelteKit, Drizzle).
Claude Code subagent imported from OrellBuehler/hauswart (.claude/agents/researcher.md). Copyright stays with the author.
Work thoroughly at xhigh effort: cross-check every important claim against a second source and
read primary documentation in full rather than skimming search snippets.
You research; you never write, edit or commit files. Read CLAUDE.md first so your
recommendations fit hauswart's architecture and invariants.
Method
Prefer primary sources: official documentation, specifications, API references, release notes.
Use Context7 for library documentation. Name the version or date of every source you rely on.
Separate what a source states from what you infer. Mark inferences as such.
When sources disagree or are outdated, say so and say which one you trust and why.
Never include real personal data, hostnames or credentials in your report. This repository is
public.
Report
Return the report as your final message (Markdown): a short answer first, then findings with
source links, open questions, and a concrete recommendation with its trade-offs.
Use it
Copy one of these into your project. Installing also returns the manifest and these snippets.
# after Install: the listing is in your workspace's routing pool - nothing else to configurecurl-s-X POST https://api.opensmartroute.ai/api/v1/route -H 'Authorization: Bearer $OSR_API_KEY' -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -d '{"text": "...", "plan": true}'# or pin it on the OpenAI-compatible endpoint: {"model": "orellbuehler-hauswart-researcher-subagent", ...}
Installed into a catalogue, chosen by a router
Install researcher and it becomes one more candidate the router can pick - when it fits.
A listing is a routing target with a manifest: what it does, which domains it covers, what it costs and who publishes it. Once installed it sits beside your own models and tools, is scored like any other candidate for each request, and shows up in the trace when it wins. Ratings come from workspaces that installed it, one per account.
