How long does the integration take?

Change one base URL in an OpenAI-compatible client, or install the Python or TypeScript SDK; the quickstart routes a first request in a few minutes.

Will this lock us into another vendor?

No. The router is Apache-2.0 open source, your provider keys stay yours, and the API is OpenAI-compatible, so leaving is a change of base URL.

What happens when a provider fails?

The router falls back to the next model your policy allows and records the fallback in the trace, so an outage costs a retry, not an incident.

Paper workspace

The active solver is Prelimina's 3D FLIP path, with transfer settings recorded in each input. Do not revive the archived RHOXYZ/LDD workflow as the current method.
Prose belongs in manuscript_sections/*.md; citations in references.bib; layout in typst/paper.typ. Build with python scripts/build_paper.py.
Paper builds must read, not overwrite, the manuscript sections. Do not silently regenerate authored results or conclusions from old script string literals.
Preserve simulation inputs, completed and failed run records, raw outputs, source patches and executable hashes. New runs require new output directories.
Derive workspace paths from script locations. The external solver is configured with PRELIMINA_REPO / PRELIMINA_EXE or runner command-line overrides.
Treat archive/ as historical evidence. Preserve its manifests and contents.
Keep algebraic convergence, stationarity, spatial convergence and literature validation distinct. Do not turn build checks into scientific validation claims.
Verify builds with Pandoc/Typst and inspect changed PDF layout. For runner changes, check overwrite protection and input validation without launching a full simulation campaign unless the task calls for one.

Once installed it sits beside your own models and tools, is scored like any other candidate for each request, and shows up in the trace when it wins. Ratings come from workspaces that installed it, one per account.
