How long does the integration take?

Change one base URL in an OpenAI-compatible client, or install the Python or TypeScript SDK; the quickstart routes a first request in a few minutes.

Will this lock us into another vendor?

No. The router is Apache-2.0 open source, your provider keys stay yours, and the API is OpenAI-compatible, so leaving is a change of base URL.

What happens when a provider fails?

The router falls back to the next model your policy allows and records the fallback in the trace, so an outage costs a retry, not an incident.

mmi-teach — notes for AI agents

Site-only plugin for the MannMade teaching site. Not part of the distributed MMI suite: no mmi-suite-common, MMI_Settings, MMI_Logger or Throttler here. Http.php is the throttle (2 s per host).
Zero cost: every source is a public listing. Never add a paid API, a scraping service or an account-based board.
A source's fetch() throws instead of returning a partial list — a short list marks postings removed.
Page views read Snapshot::get() only. Anything slow belongs in Refresher (cron/CLI).
County matching lives in Places; add checked employer answers to data/employers.json, then wp mmi-teach reclassify.
Every heading in the table sorts; ID is the first column (owner rules).
Bump Version + MMI_TEACH_VERSION and add a changelog.md entry for every change.
Agencies: posting text beats curated routes; never mark a sub job's agency without a source. Routes in data/agencies.json are for daily subs unless by_kind says otherwise.
Requirements: label every part with its basis (posted, text, rule, inferred); never present an inferred license as the posting's own requirement. New WECAN license names must be mapped in data/licenses.json (wecan lists).

A listing is a routing target with a manifest: what it does, which domains it covers, what it costs and who publishes it. Once installed it sits beside your own models and tools, is scored like any other candidate for each request, and shows up in the trace when it wins. Ratings come from workspaces that installed it, one per account.
