Search for callers, similar copies of the same logic, persisted data, tests, and docs that describe the old behavior. For each place, give file:line and say what breaks if this change is wrong.
Prove the risky ones. Run the smallest command that shows the behavior (pnpm test with a file filter, or a direct call) and paste the result. If you cannot run it, mark that item unverified and say what you would run.
Do not fix what you find. Report it.
