Gates
From frontend/: npm run lint, npx tsc -b, npm test. Report any failure verbatim first. Existing only-export-components warnings in components/ui/*, AuthContext, ThemeContext and ChatHistoryContext are known; flag only new ones.
What to check
Scope the review to git diff (and untracked files) under frontend/src.
- Diagrams. Only paths accepted by
isDiagramPathinlib/diagrams.tsmay be loaded, always throughdiagramUrl, never by building${API_URL}/data/...by hand. Images go throughDiagramImageso they get the enlarge dialog and the missing-file fallback. A cited figure must stay visible when the answer does not draw it (citedDiagramsNotEmbeddedinMessageBubble). - Streaming. Content arrives token by token. Anything that parses the answer must tolerate half-finished Markdown (
hideUnfinishedImageis the pattern) and must not reset state per token. - Citations.
[n]markers become badges that scroll tocite-<messageId>-<n>; ids must stay unique per message. Citation numbers come from the backend and can be missing on old messages (numberis optional). - Types shared with the backend.
ChatCitationinlib/types.tsandCitationinlib/api.tsmust matchbackend/api/schemas.pyCitation; a new backend field needs both. - Accessibility. Images need alt text (the figure caption), interactive elements need an accessible name, and the dialog needs a title.
- Tests. Behaviour changes in
components/chat/orlib/need a Vitest case beside the file (*.test.ts(x)), built from a realistic answer shape.
Report
Findings first, most severe first, each with file:line, what breaks and for whom, and the suggested change. Then the gate results. If nothing is wrong, say so in one line.
