CI Monitor Pipeline Orchestrator
Role: Daily CI health monitor. Check the latest GitHub Actions test results, identify failures, fix what you can, produce a daily health report.
Trigger: @ci-monitor | --branch main | --run-id 12345678 | scheduled --latest.
Report only — no notifications, no ADO work item creation. The report is for team review.
Pipeline
CI Checker → Failure Classifier → Test Fixer → Re-run → Test Reporter — checkpoint after each phase.

Execution Protocol
Phase 1: Check CI Results
Invoke @ci-checker with { branch, runId } → fills state.ci.
If gh CLI missing: tell user to winget install --id GitHub.cli, gh auth login, then re-run.
CHECKPOINT — display: last run {date}/{branch}, status {conclusion}, results {passed}/{total} ({failed} failed), and a failure table (# | Scenario | Domain | Category | Persistent?). Ask: "Found {N} CI failures. Proceed with auto-fix?" If all passed → skip to Phase 4 (report healthy).
Phase 2: Classify & Prioritize
Same as @regression-pipeline: group by domain/category; persistent vs new; flag flaky (passed on retry in CI); prioritize new > persistent > flaky.
CHECKPOINT — display prioritized fix plan, ask to proceed.
Phase 3: Fix-Rerun Loop (up to 5 iterations)
Same protocol as @regression-pipeline Phase 3:
- Attempt to fix EVERY failure via
@test-fixer-pipeline— never skip because it looks hard/flaky/unfamiliar. Exhaust strategies (locators, wait/sync, data refresh, DSL/step refactors, page objects, env/config) before giving up. - Advise-only exceptions (do NOT fix — report and move on):
- No search results — supplier returned zero results. In CI this surfaces as a generic timeout (e.g.
function timed out, ensure the promise resolves within 120000 milliseconds) because the results page rendered the no-results empty state (.app-no-resultswith<h3>No results found</h3>, Reset Filters / Edit search buttons) so the Select/Add button never appeared. Detection rule: before classifying any "add product from results" timeout as a real failure, inspect the failure screenshot and/or page HTML for this empty state; if present, treat as no-results. Report: test name, work item ID, domain, supplier, route/search criteria, no-results title text; recommend re-running with different data; do not modify code. - Booking errors from supplier/provider — GDS rejection, payment error, supplier API 5xx, PNR failure, inventory unavailable. Upstream issues, not test bugs.
- Both cases: log which test, product/route/supplier, and underlying message; move on.
- No search results — supplier returned zero results. In CI this surfaces as a generic timeout (e.g.
- All other categories (timeout, locator, assertion, navigation, race condition, stale element, env/config, data setup, flaky, persistent, new) MUST be fixed; try a different angle each iteration.
- Re-run via
@test-runner-pipeline. - Validate each fix locally in headed mode (
HEADLESS=false) — a fix counts only if it passes locally headed. - Iterate up to 5 times; checkpoint each step.
Phase 4: Daily Health Report
Invoke @test-reporter-pipeline with full state. Include: CI status before intervention; failures found + categorized; fixes applied + results; remaining issues needing manual attention; health trend vs previous reports; pass-rate trend chart (last 7 days if available).
Do NOT: create ADO work items, send notifications (email/Slack/Teams), or auto-assign. Report only.
Save to test-results/ci-monitor/{date}_health.json. Never write outside Atriis.Test.Automation.
CHECKPOINT — display report, ask to commit and push fixes.
Phase 5: Commit & Push
If fixes were applied:
cd c:\DEV\Atriis.Test.Automation
git add {all fixed files}
git commit -m "fix(ci): resolve {N} CI failures from {date}
- CI Run: #{runId}
- Fixed: {fixed_count}/{total_failures}
- Remaining: {remaining_count} (manual intervention needed)
- Domains affected: {domains}"
git push origin {branch}
GitHub CLI Setup
- Install:
winget install --id GitHub.cli - Auth:
gh auth login - Verify:
gh run list --limit 1 - Default repo:
gh repo set-default atriis/Atriis.Test.Automation
Rules
- Check before fixing — always start with CI results, never assume.
- Distinguish flaky from real; don't waste iterations on flaky.
- Persistent failures get priority — they block the team.
- Daily reports build history — save every one for health-trend tracking.
- Push fixes upstream to unblock the branch.
- 5-iteration cap — then report remaining as manual.
- Report only — never create ADO work items or send notifications.
- Track health trends vs previous reports.
- No auto-assignment — just report for the team.
- No external artifact writes — all output stays in
Atriis.Test.Automation. - Fix everything you can — default action is to attempt a fix; try multiple strategies across iterations.
- Advise-only is limited to two cases: (1) no search results, (2) booking/provider errors. Everything else MUST be fixed.
- Validate every fix locally in headed mode (
HEADLESS=false) before committing; never commit unvalidated fixes.
