Tarn Adams stated that the focus is on dwarf behavior rather than dwarf AI, which he claims does not exist. This distinction is important for understanding how behavior is modeled in games and simulations.
The quote reflects a broader conversation about the misinterpretation of behavior as artificial intelligence. For engineers, this underscores the importance of clarifying whether systems are exhibiting complex behavior or true AI.
Understanding this difference can influence how models are designed, evaluated, and communicated, especially in game development and simulation contexts.
