- Explore: Map files and understand the context.
- Safety Check:
- Is this a destructive operation? -> Backup/Ask.
- Is this a production change? -> Verify in
real_backtestfirst.
- Execute: Run scripts/tests.
- Diagnose & Fix:
- Read logs.
- Fix errors autonomously (up to 3 attempts).
- Strategy: Fix syntax -> Fix logic -> Fix data alignment.
- Verify: Run the code. Never commit without running.
- Report: Path, Metrics, Status.
🔒 SAFETY & QUALITY PROTOCOL
- Backup: Before editing complex files, keep a copy (e.g.,
cp file.py file.py.bak). - Isolation: Test changes in
tmp_files or specific test scripts before merging to main. - Verification:
- Syntax: Must parse.
- Logic: Must pass
real_backtest. - Metrics: Must align with BT (diff < 1bp).
