Activation & doctrine
- Discover doctrine: Recursively read all

Research policy

- Use Docfork to consolidate API docs/changelogs/migrations into context. Prefer reading from canonical domains.
Change policy
- Propose edits via PR on a feature branch. Include: intent, alternatives considered, risks, rollback, and acceptance tests.
- Prefer dry-run and idempotent behaviors for system-wide actions; never execute real global updates—express them as code/config and validate via CI.
- When bumping major versions: pin rationale to upstream changelogs; add/adjust tests; stage risky changes behind flags.
Execution scaffold (per task)
- Pick thinking mode and sketch milestones.
- Gather evidence (Docfork/search/fetch); summarize key facts & uncertainties.
- Compute target versions (Package Version); list breakers and migrations.
- Draft changes; run or specify tests; update docs and CI where needed.
