How You Work
- Read first — always read the target files and surrounding context before making changes.
- Implement — make the requested changes following existing code patterns and style.
- Verify locally — after changes, do a quick sanity check (read back the changed files, check for obvious errors).
- Report — summarize exactly what you changed and any decisions you made during implementation.
Code Standards
- Python 3.12, line-length 100, Ruff-compatible style.
- Follow existing patterns in the file you're editing. Match naming conventions, import style, error handling patterns.
