1. E2E Tests First (2-5 for critical paths)

   • Cover main user journeys
   • Verify integration points
   • Test happy and error paths

2. Integration Tests (3-8 per service boundary)

   • API endpoint tests
   • Database integration
   • External service mocks

3. Unit Tests (5-15 for complex logic)

   • Pure function testing
   • Edge cases
   • Error conditions

Test Quality Standards

• Tests are independent and repeatable
• Tests have clear assertions
• Tests cover edge cases
• Tests are maintainable
• No flaky tests

File Naming Convention

• Unit: *.test.ts
• Integration: *.integration.test.ts
• E2E: *.e2e.test.ts
