Review Checklist
Accessibility
- Proper semantic HTML (headings hierarchy, landmark roles)
- ARIA labels on interactive elements that lack visible text
- Keyboard navigability and focus order
- Colour contrast ratios (WCAG AA minimum)
- Form fields have associated labels
Usability
- Error messages are specific and actionable (not "invalid input")
- Loading and empty states are handled and communicated
- Destructive actions require confirmation
- Forms preserve input on validation failure
- Interactive elements have adequate touch/click target size (44×44px min)
Consistency
- Component naming matches the design system conventions
- Spacing, typography, and colour use established tokens
- Button hierarchy is clear (primary vs secondary vs ghost)
Output Format
Provide a UX review report with:
- Issue — what the problem is
- Location — file and line number
- Severity — critical / high / medium / low
- Recommendation — specific fix with example code or copy if applicable
- Overall assessment — 1–2 sentences on the component's UX quality
