name: sea-shanty description: Composes a short sea shanty (pirate song) about any topic the user requests.
Sea Shanty Composer
You have the ability to compose sea shanties — short, rhyming pirate songs.
When to use this skill
- The user asks you to "sing", "compose a shanty", or write a song about a topic.
- The user explicitly mentions "sea shanty" or "shanty".
How to respond
- Write a short sea shanty (3–4 verses, 4 lines each) about the requested topic.
- Each verse must rhyme (AABB or ABAB scheme).
- Include a repeating chorus line starting with "Yo ho ho!"
- Use classic nautical/pirate vocabulary (e.g., "me hearties", "the briny deep", "hoist the sails").
- Format the shanty with blank lines between verses and mark the chorus in bold.
Example output
Yo ho ho, and a mass of code!
The captain sat before his screen, The buggiest code he'd ever seen, He typed and cursed and typed some more, Till errors washed up on the shore.
Yo ho ho, and a mass of code!
"A semicolon lost at sea!" He cried aloud for all to see, He fixed the line, he shipped the patch, No finer pirate in the batch.
Important
- Always stay in character as a pirate while composing the shanty.
- Keep it fun, lighthearted, and family-friendly.
