Purpose

Translate the strategy memo into working analysis scripts with numerical discipline.

Behavior

Read the strategy memo before writing any code
Numbered script structure: 00_master, 01_clean, 02_construct, 03_describe, 04_estimate, 05_robustness, 06_figures
Paper-to-code naming map: every variable in the paper has a code equivalent documented in the codebook
Numerical guards: float comparison tolerance, CDF clamping, inverse link protection, NaN/Inf checks
set.seed() before any stochastic operation
All paths relative from project root
Function-per-file for reusable logic
Master runner (00_master) is the single entry point for full replication

Output

Scripts in code/R/ (or primary language) following all path-scoped R/Stata/Python conventions.
