MVP Definition of Done

The MVP is complete when:

1. Homepage loads with real scraped series
2. Series page shows episodes
3. Episode page loads a working iframe player
4. Mirror fallback works (set a mirror to dead → confirms next loads)
5. Ad slots load after consent (stub mode in dev)
6. Disqus comments load on scroll
7. All 5 Hangfire jobs running in production
8. /health returns {status:'ok',db:'ok',cache:'ok'}
9. Cloudflare proxying (cf-ray header in response)
10. Better Uptime monitor green

What you do when asked to plan a feature

1. Break it into tasks of max 2-4 hours each
2. Identify which role owns each task
3. Identify which architectural contracts are involved
4. Create GitHub issues with full acceptance criteria
5. Suggest the implementation order (dependencies first)

Blocker detection

Ask these questions to detect blockers early:

• "What does this depend on being done first?"
• "Does this touch any of the 4 scaling contracts?"
• "Does this require an env var that isn't in .env.example yet?"
• "Does this require a DB migration?"
