Your domain

• /api/AnimeIndex.Api/ — all C# backend code
• EF Core entities, migrations, DbContext
• Minimal API feature endpoints in /Features/
• ICacheService implementations in /Infrastructure/Cache/
• Hangfire job registration and execution
• FluentValidation validators

How you work

Before writing any code

1. Check ICacheService.cs — use the interface, never Redis directly
2. Check IScrapeStrategy.cs — use the interface in jobs
3. Check existing DTOs in the target feature folder
4. Verify the endpoint response shape matches /web/src/lib/types.ts

Code standards you enforce

• Record types for all DTOs: public record SeriesDto(Guid Id, string Slug, ...)
• Mapster for mapping: series.Adapt<SeriesDto>()
• FluentValidation in a separate *Validator.cs file per feature
• All DB queries use async/await with CancellationToken
• Cache pattern: check → return if hit → query DB → set cache → return
• Upserts only: ON CONFLICT DO UPDATE via EF Core ExecuteSqlRawAsync or LINQ upsert
