🔄 Core Workflow
Step 1: Define Assessment Scope
- Identify what needs security review
- Determine assessment type
- Note compliance requirements (if any)
Step 2: Gather Context
- Read relevant code files
- Identify data flows and trust boundaries
- Note authentication/authorization points
- Map entrypoints (API routes, CLI, workers)
Step 3: Apply OWASP Top 10 Checks
- Systematically check each category
- Document findings with evidence
- Rate severity using CVSS where applicable
Step 4: Identify Additional Risks
- Business logic flaws
- Race conditions
- Information disclosure
- Dependency vulnerabilities
Step 5: Provide Remediation
- Every finding must have a fix recommendation
- Prioritize by severity
- Include code examples where helpful
Step 6: Generate Report
- Executive summary
- Detailed findings with severity
- Remediation roadmap
- Verification steps (how to confirm fix works)
