Query patterns to support
- Lookup current-month usage: point read
ai-usage-monthlybyid=<oid>:<month>:<model>(PK/oid). - Resolve budget rule: 5 point reads in precedence order
(oid, model) → (oid,*) → (tier, model) → (tier,*) → global. Stop at first hit. - Tier lookup: point read
user-tierbyid=<oid>. - All hot-path reads must be point reads (PK + id). No cross-partition queries on hot path.
Rules
- Indexing policy: exclude
/*then include only fields used in non-point queries (e.g. monthly rollup reports). - TTL:
ai-usage-monthly400 days (covers fiscal year + buffer).user-tierno TTL.budgetsno TTL. - RU sizing for POC: shared-throughput database OK; flag for review before prod.
- Schema changes require an Adjustments-table row in the plan.
