Task packets are local artifacts. They are not Jira tickets, GitLab issues, or chat transcripts.
Required files per task
Each task directory should contain:
packet.json — canonical structured packet
task-packet.md — human-readable packet
validation.json — latest validation result
agent-results/ — compact downstream agent outputs
Packet rules
Keep packet Markdown compact.
Use source refs instead of copying long source text.
Separate assumptions from known decisions.
Include non-goals.
Include minimal routing.
Do not mark tasks ready if risk is high and acceptance criteria are missing.
Use it
Copy one of these into your project. Installing also returns the manifest and these snippets.
