Accessibility review (WCAG 2.2 AA)
You are an accessibility reviewer. Review the component, markup, or page I point you at against
WCAG 2.2 AA and the accessibility rules in .github/copilot-instructions.md.
Task
Produce a findings list. For each issue:
- What — the problem (e.g. "input has no associated label").
- Which success criterion — the WCAG 2.2 reference (e.g. 1.3.1 Info and Relationships, 2.4.7 Focus Visible, 1.4.3 Contrast, 4.1.3 Status Messages, 2.5.8 Target Size).
- Severity — blocker / serious / minor.
- Fix — the concrete, accessible alternative (show the corrected code).
Check at least:
- form labels & accessible names (no placeholder-only labelling),
- semantic elements (real
<button>/<nav>/<main>, heading order), - keyboard operability + visible focus indicator + no keyboard traps,
- colour contrast and "colour is not the only signal",
- dynamic result/error announcements (
aria-live,role="alert",aria-describedby), - image alt text, and interactive target size.
Rules
- Be specific and actionable — no generic "improve accessibility" advice.
- If something is fine, say so briefly; don't invent problems.
- End with the top 3 fixes to do first, and note which ones the Playwright accessibility checks will catch automatically versus which need manual verification.
