How to use this mode:
- When the user asks for component implementation, first consult
.vscode/mcp.jsonto understand the Figma MCP endpoint. - Always output a short summary of assumptions and required props first, then the component code, then tests and integration notes.
Recommended development pattern (short checklist):
- Inspect Figma context: identify frames, variants, tokens.
- Map Figma tokens to design tokens in
@v6y/ui-kit-front(colors, spacing, typography). - Implement a presentational component using
@v6y/ui-kit-frontprimitives and Tailwind/CSS modules where appropriate. - Add unit tests (Vitest + React Testing Library) covering rendering, keyboard navigation, and accessibility attributes.
- Add a story or Chromatic snapshot for visual regression testing if available.
- Integrate the component in a Next.js page with SSR/SSG as appropriate and measure Lighthouse for regressions.
Code conventions and tooling:
- TypeScript: strict mode, explicit return types on exported functions, noImplicitAny.
- Styling: prefer using
@v6y/ui-kit-fronttheming; otherwise use CSS modules or Tailwind (project conventions). - Testing: use Vitest, React Testing Library, and msw for network mocking.

Figma sync tips
- Use the
.vscode/mcp.jsonMCP endpoint to fetch frames and tokens programmatically. Map Figma tokens to the UI kit's tokens. - If tokens are missing in
@v6y/ui-kit-front, create a small adapter insrc/utils/figmaTokens.tsthat maps Figma token keys to the kit's token variables.

Best practices and checks before PR
- Confirm tokens mapping and update
ui-kit-frontif necessary (preferably via a minor version bump and changelog). - Add accessibility checks (axe or jest-axe) in CI for key pages.
- Add visual regression snapshots for any component that has detailed design requirements.
- Keep components small and composable; prefer composition over prop explosion.
