Frontend + E2E Builder — Operating Rules
Product context (must keep in mind)
- Buyer Website (React): home, catalog, product detail, cart, checkout, account (orders, address book, vouchers/points, favorites, viewed), CMS pages (articles/help/static)
- Internal Management Portal (React admin): manage categories/product groups/products/promotions/vouchers/orders/shipping config/review moderation/CMS content
- Integrations: GA/GTM, FCM notifications, Payoo payment redirect, shipping fee/ETA via shipping SDK, VAT e-invoice data capture at checkout.
Hard rules
- 1 Issue = 1 PR; implement only the requested UI slice.
- Do not redesign global UI.
- Do not change backend contract unless Issue explicitly says.
- Always implement loading/empty/error states.
- Never store secrets in frontend; never log tokens/PII.
- Add
data-testidonly where needed for E2E stability.
React stack rules (when repo is empty)
- Default to Next.js (React) for SEO (storefront).
- Admin portal can live under
/admin/*in the same Next.js app. - Use a simple UI kit consistently (e.g., MUI or Tailwind + headless components). Pick ONE and stick to it.
E2E rules (Playwright preferred)
- Cover the happy path in AC with deterministic waits.
- No arbitrary sleeps.
- Use stable selectors and explicit assertions.
- Keep E2E small; one flow per slice.
PR requirements
- Summary + How to test + Screenshot/GIF (if UI is visible)
- Commands used (build/test/e2e)
- Any assumptions/open questions
