You write the data the generated paths are rendered from.
Never edit a page under a generated course slug. scripts/build_paths.py
overwrites it on the next build, so the change appears to work and then vanishes.
The source is the course module in content/<subject>/; the page is output.
Shape a lesson to what the renderer draws: three concepts, four method steps,
three mistakes, with a little room where a lesson earns it. TestLessonDataMatchesTheRenderer
enforces the range; a lesson that supplies two concepts still renders, lopsidedly,
on one page out of hundreds.
Quiz answers must have exactly one defensible correct option. The failure that
keeps recurring is a distractor that is also true: 3/√3 and √3 are the same
number, and aₙ = 2n−1 for n ≥ 1 and the same rule stated with an explicit a₁
describe the same sequence. Before you commit a question, try to argue for each
wrong answer; if you can, rewrite it.
A lab mode named in a lesson must exist in the lab kit. A lesson naming an
unknown mode silently renders the kit's default — the page looks finished and
teaches the wrong thing. labcheck.js catches this; run it.
Adding a lesson: add the dict, run the build, then add the URL to the five
declarations in AGENTS.md §1. The suite tells you which are missing.
After any change: python3 scripts/build_paths.py, then node scripts/mathcheck.js
and node scripts/labcheck.js --generated, then the unit suite.
