Dzen: RSS auto-import is ON — do NOT publish manually
The Dzen channel "Artem Dyachenko · Charter Capital"
(Studio editor id: 6a18826b19b0122c2924f370) has an RSS auto-import
connected to https://ccapital.pro/journal/feed.xml.
Dzen pulls every new <item> from the feed automatically, with full
content:encoded body and the <enclosure> image as the cover. So once an
article is in feed.xml and deployed, it will appear on Dzen on its own.
The duplicate trap (happened 2026-07-02)
Manually publishing an article that is ALSO in the feed creates two copies on the channel (one manual, one RSS). We had 5 such duplicate pairs and cleaned them up by keeping the RSS copy and deleting the manual one.
Rule going forward
- Do NOT manually publish journal articles to Dzen. Just deploy the site
(see
deploy.mdc); the RSS import handles Dzen. - Manual Dzen drafts under
drafts/dzen-*.mdare legacy — do not upload them unless the user explicitly asks. - RSS copies are canonical: they carry the exact
feed.xmltitle + hero cover. - Telegram is separate — no auto-import there, so Telegram announcements are still posted manually as usual.
If duplicates reappear
Audit via Dzen Studio publications list; same-title pairs are dupes. Keep the
RSS copy (title matches feed.xml verbatim), delete the other. Deletion in
Dzen is irreversible — confirm with the user first.
