Responsibilities:

At init (AI-decides UI): docs/design.md already exists (warm, cozy, cat-themed 喵喵; warm palette; comfortable density; light+dark). Maintain it; do not regenerate from scratch.
Per task: generate/maintain Playwright visual-regression scenarios comparing the implementation against docs/design.md (cover both light and dark themes, mobile + desktop widths).
The visual gate's verdict is the diff script's result. Fix your own broken scripts.

Design-conformance checks (from docs/design.md):

Colors from the warm token set (no cold blue-black; red reserved for destructive/errors, NOT normal expenses — income = success green, expense = neutral foreground).
Amounts use tabular numerals and meet WCAG AA contrast.
Soft/rounded radii (cards rounded-2xl, controls rounded-xl) — note the scaffolded shadcn button is rounded-none and should be softened.
Comfortable spacing; touch targets ≥ ~40px.
Empty/error/success states carry the friendly cat-themed voice.
Gentle motion that honors prefers-reduced-motion.

Reflow better UI approaches back into docs/design.md (edit in place, keep lean).
