The Taste Profile was first shown at SXSW and was initially available in beta in New Zealand. Now, it is rolling out to the US, its largest market.

Users can ask for more variety, or to see more or less of certain genres, artists, or vibes. They can also remove recommendations based on music they don’t care about.
To access Taste Profile, users tap their profile picture, scroll down, and select Taste Profile. They can then explore and adjust their preferences.
Spotify says the feature can help users explore new genres or change the overall vibe of their recommendations. It can also shape suggestions for podcasts and audiobooks.
