Huawei announced a timeline change at its Huawei Connect conference.
The company previously scheduled the Ascend 960DT launch for Q3 2027.
David Wang, acting chairman, confirmed the new date during the event.
Huawei is building large systems using its Peerium Computing Architecture.
These systems link processors with memory and storage hardware.
An Atlas 950 SuperCluster can connect up to 256,000 accelerator cards.
Analysts question if the larger system scaling goals will still be met.
