Daydream, an AI-powered fashion discovery app, released two new features leveraging Apple Intelligence. The first feature allows users to shop from images saved in their Photos app. The app analyzes outfit images, identifying individual pieces and surfacing shoppable matches from a catalog of approximately 3 million products. The second feature provides a Siri-powered natural language search function, allowing users to make requests by voice or text.
To utilize these features, users require an iPhone running iOS 27 with Siri AI enabled, along with the Daydream app, which is free to download. Daydream’s initial catalog includes products from brands such as Anthropologie, Dolce & Gabbana, Uniqlo, J.Crew, Reformation, Gucci, and Nordstrom. The company currently has over 1.5 million shoppers browsing products from more than 325 retailers and 10,000 brands.
Daydream’s strategy extends beyond individual shopping tools. The company’s longer-term ambition is to build a shopping agent that understands a user’s style well enough to operate across various surfaces. This includes utilizing on-device intelligence and integrating into everyday moments of discovery.
Daydream differentiates itself from other visual search tools by focusing on fashion category expertise, ensuring accurate results and credible brands. The company’s approach aligns with broader AI shopping tool development, including Google, Amazon, and smaller players like Onton and Alta.
